Five little angels

What a handful these five little babies are, but what a joy! I was happy to be there today especially because their mommy and grandmother (Betty Ann from Arizona) wanted to take a group picture of them inside the wheelbarrow wearing overalls, so I stuck around to help after my shift ended. Luckily, I had brought my camera, too. I have some of their names matched with their faces. Top left is Rustin, who is easy to remember because he's a redhead, so I think of rust colored hair, which sounds like Rustin. Then the other little boy is Ryder, the one crying. He is adorable. They're all amazing. I'm pretty sure I got to hold each of them at least a couple of times during my three-hour shift today.

Here's their sweet mom, Rachelle. Can you believe this skinny woman gave birth to quintuplets about three months ago?

I love black and white, so I wanted to post some in those tones too. The Wilkinsons are so organized and everything was so clean and tidy in their home. I signed up to do an all-night volunteer shift in two weeks, where I get to be up with the babies with one other person from 10 pm to 6 am. I am wiped out from today's three-hour shift and can't imagine how they manage all this, day after day. It's mind-blowing just thinking about trying to deal with five little babies 'round the clock. Sometimes nobody is crying. Then sometimes all of them are. I propped one baby up on my lap and held another. I put two in bouncy seats and bounced them while holding another. It was a lot of work, but I loved every minute of it and truly felt like I had a bit of heaven in my arms when I held these precious little angels.
