We just heard about this too. Our friends from CA are planning to fly in for the game, so we'll probably try to go too. Of course, BYU will probably get creamed, but it could still be fun. :-)
After their bowl loss, BYU falls to #25, yikes! And the way Oklahoma played last night...
This is definitely a game I don't want to see at all... I'm already sore at my Cougs (contemplating trading in my blue sweatshirts/t-shirts for red - is that blasphemous???), I certainly don't relish the idea of a hopeful perfect/loss-less season being squashed right at the onset.
I wish that BYU was playing at the intensity level that Utah has been playing, under those circumstances I'd gladly consider flying out to Dallas. But I think I'll pass on watching the lamb going to the slaughter. I can't even bear to watch it on TV where the blood and stuff is all fake (lol).
Of course if BYU were to somehow win, I'd be kicking myself into tomorrow! But the math just doesn't add up and I've painfully learned that good ole Mormon "faith" just doesn't apply to BYU football. I mean surely BYU should have beaten TCU, right? Just as they should always beat SMU and Notre Dame, etc. But I guess it just wouldn't be fair if it worked like that.
Isn't that exciting?! We seriously considered coming, but have a conflict with some medical meetings the week before. Not that we think the Y will win, but...
