Santa brought me a new camera!

These first, second, and fourth pictures were with my old camera. The shot above was taken right after we got home from church yesterday, then this morning for breakfast I made this Butterscotch Pecan Pull Apart in a fluted baking stone and thought it would be interesting to compare my old camera to my new one. I had it in auto mode, which is what I usually do.

It looks like your new camera does a lot better with the white balance. Nice! You'll have fun with it I believe. Happy new year.

These were taken in the daytime and in my old camera photos, it looks like it was nighttime. I'm looking forward to some good pictures with this better lens!

wow! what a difference! Jules says "whitebalance" - I wonder if I should read up on the various settings my camera has. ??
