This was my first Smilebox slide show to make and it's only five pages long, and I couldn't figure out how to add pages to last for the entire song. Be sure to listen for the Dixie Chicks when they say "bluebonnets" on the last page of our adventure. (Tip: The last page has a tag that said Adventure 2008.) After that, enjoy the rest of the Chicks' cool tune. If you are an expert at Smilebox, or smart enough to know how to add pages, feel free to leave a comment teaching me your tricks. Thanks!

Those are great pictures. I love how great your family always looks. And you have such a great smile. That really looks like a great place that you found. I had given up on finding a good spot this year but maybe I might have to seek your little spot out and see if I can get a few pics of our family. Hmmm just thinking about the ordeal of getting the kids in and out of the car makes me think that maybe we won't be doing that.

Wow! How beautiful! I would have loved to have snapped some pictures in that field. I also loved the old farm in the background. Those pictures really looked professional. It sure is nice that your kids don't mind all of the photography sessions that you guys have. I love it! My mom was the same way. Always thinking about that "Kodak moment." Great job on the smilebox too! I have never done one of those, but I will have to now.

Gotta love those bluebonnets! We have to set up a time and go this weekend for ours. I have the perfect dress for Simone! Your pictures look great. I would give Kelly's new camera an A+, as well as A++ for your family being photogenic!

Love it! You are making me homesick for Texas. The wildflowers in spring were one of my favorite things about Texas...especially the bluebonnets. Looks like you are taking full advantage of that new camera. And you are already pros. The lighting is perfect!

You did it! That little video scrapbook is darling :)

Those bluebonnet fields remind me of the blueBELL fields in England. They come out in spring also, along with the Oil Seed Rape fields. They are endless fields of brilliant yellow. We have many family photos in both kinds. Ahh, I need to go back to England!!

What a great way to start my day. I love that song and I loved your smile box. Kelly, you looked absolutley beautiful in these pictures as did the entire family. I have to admit that we are not really from Texas because I just could not add another tradition to my life at the moment of taking these blue bonnet pics. I did get Jordan two years ago in them and I do love seeing all the families do it!

Super great pic's. Loving the new camera I see. I had to comment on this one because we saw you guys out on the side of the road that evening. I'm not sure any of those pictures made the slideshow, but it was fun seeing you anyway. Don't you love Smilebox?

Triathlon triumph

Are you kidding me? A triathlon and I have never belonged in the same sentence. It must have been time for something new! (The "BEFORE" race shot, with goggles and swim cap in hand.) What an unforgettable week this was! I actually DID enter my first triathlon, with the goal of simply finishing it. The BIG REVEAL!

We LOVE our new pool! There are a couple of problems that need to be fixed, so we're crossing our fingers that they get it done right, and soon, considering we have given them the final check for the balance of the pool, and we don't have any leverage. Three of the waterfalls work. This is the main one and I like the natural look. Below, here's the deep end waterfall, and it's flows nicely. The water sheer like this one, that flows into the shallow beach area, is the fall that is not working. It's frustrating, but hopefully they'll fix it soon. The fountain in the spa is blocked too. Here's the small rock waterfall, which works just great. It took about 18 hours to fill the pool and we practically watched it gallon by gallon. I stayed up all night long, making sure it didn't overflow. We swim in it every day. Last night we went on a midnight swim and it was beautiful. The water temperature is perfect. San Antonio temple weekend

Here am I (five months pregnant), with Hannah, Kelly, Lindsey, and Christopher, walking out of the San Antonio temple after our new daughter was sealed to us for time and for all eternity during a special, sacred ceremony, this past Saturday afternoon.  We were happy to have a wonderful group of guests in attendance with us, Kelly's two sisters, Debbie and Brenda, my sister, Julie, Kelly's mom and dad, my mom, my good friends Lorraine and Stewart, Carol and Rick, and one person from our ward, my buddy, Sue. Dinner later that night consisted of a feast at the Salt Lick in Driftwood, Texas, for some incredible pork ribs, cole slaw, and more.
